Jesus is the Anti-Cain

Cain hated his righteous brother and killed him. Jesus loved the unrighteous and gave His life for them. Jesus is the Anti-Cain.

The Old & New Command to Love

If you have been brought into the love of Jesus Christ, you will love your brother the way that Jesus loved you. That’s the plain meaning of this passage, but what does John mean when he says that he’s giving this church an old and a new command, when they are told to love one another?

God is Light

How do we maintain good fellowship with God? The first hindrance John deals with is sin. How can a God who is light have fellowship with those who have sinned?
